We recently participated in a 7 Habits of Highly Effective People course. We were struck with the way each of the principles tied in to Ranching For Profit School principles and the mission of the Executive Link. We were so impressed that Sally and I completed the instructor certification and, under an agreement with the FranklinCovey® organization, will be offering the course to Executive Link members and RFP School alumni for a substantially reduced tuition.
This training will help you:
- Develop a clearer definition of the results you want each day.
- Focus on your top priorities, achieve greater balance, and improve your organization and productivity through a weekly and daily planning process.
- End self-defeating personal and professional behavior and gain the necessary security to change.
- Recognize how choices based on personal experience or beliefs can profoundly impact your effectiveness, both positively and negatively.
- Build a team that finds faster and better solutions through clear expectations, shared responsibilities, and an understanding of priorities.
- Develop the skills of effective communication that lead to greater influence and faster problem solving.
The workshop includes:
- The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. This best-selling book provides the basis for the concepts taught in the course.
- Participant Guidebook. This workbook, used during the course, is filled with examples and exercises that continue to enhance the learning process after the workshop is over.
- The FranklinCovey® 7 Habits Planning System. Since attending the course, we use this planning system at RMC.
- The 7 Habits Contract. Use this personal contract and guide to develop the 7 habits of effectiveness for the seven weeks following the course.
In the Ranching For Profit School and Executive link, you learned the tools for restructuring your business for sustainability. Application of those tools boils down to personal effectiveness. Learning and living the 7 Habits will improve your personal effectiveness. The result will be more balance in your life and more rapid progress in building your business.
